Saturated Polyester Resins are oil free non-oxidizing alkyd resins. They can be cross-linked with amino resins and isocyanates through their free hydroxyl functionality. These types of resins are soluble in aromatic hydrocarbon esters and glycol ethers. They are used almost exclusively for industrial finishes.
